So they choose the "optimum" enclosure. I see that there all all sealed boxes with 3000 w rms put to them, and the competitor subs fail. To them, reason of cause is mechanical failure. Yes it is going to fail mechanically since it's in a sealed box, with 3000 watts.

subs were all broken in if you read the page.....

Step 1 -Break-In

1 hour at 1000 RMS with 30 Hz test tone or 2000 Peak Music Power from test disk to break-in the speaker.

i'm not a fan of Orion by far but they did make a hella tuff sub....
