a very tough dilema, a very hard choice

How many hours have you put into this latest piece? Being as it has 3,000 leaves compared to the 1,000 on the one you mentioned above, I would say it is worth a good bit more than the one valued at $2,500, especially if you invested a lot more time into it.

I never counted this one. I knew the oak because I marathoned it for 3 weeks at 18-24 hours a day. I was 18 and summer vacation was almost over. I would never had finished it with school in the way.

Oh, god no. I would not spread word about it in such an underhanded way. I am truly torn between this issue. This is a good man. He has bought every tree sculpture I have been willing to sell where others could never afford it. He truly is entranced by them. But this isn,t the Michaelangelo's David either. but Its only gotten complements where I have taken it. Im going to try to post it when I finish the leaves (270 left) and shape the wire of the branches right. Then I'll post it.

I think you should take the advice from here and see what others think it is worth. Art is especially volatile as it is worth whatever someone deems it to be worth (i'm sure you know this).

I was thinking about this situation. I wouldn't sell it for that low.
Also, if you are just trying to spread the word on selling it here, I like how you went about it. Get some attention, get some interest in pictures then post a price.

Yes, thats what got me into it. Mine are fatter and denser with larger bases and thicker leaf cover. I try to make sure my trees have a natural shape, a variety of colors that play well together, are well balanced and well proportioned, and have the look of real scenery. I assure you mine are of better quality than those. I try to put everything into them because they state who I am.

I'm a hillbilly. I dont have no phone. If I need to cary a phone around everywhere I go to contact people, then I think my life is too busy. All I want to do is enjoy the mountains and create things.
