A Sad but humbling experience.....

So my car has a leak from a faulty grommet and it smelled like mold. Anywho I took my car to mazda today under the assumption that I would get a mazda 6 as my rental/replacement car. I drop off the car and find out that they are out of rental's at the moment and that enterprise will be there shortly to pick me up. I'm sorta ok with that given my fiance's experiences with em(g35 sedan and lincoln towncar). So they drive me to their lot and I get my rental car. A FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT kia spectra.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Now I realize it will make me appreciate my car more in the end but wtf kind of bullshit is that. a 30k car (mine) to a 11k spectra?

So to make myself feel better after going to see a screening of All the Kings Men(awesome movie!) i drove my friend home and had to attempt to make this pile of junk do a burnout. i mean i can drive any car but seriously we did a nuetral at 6k dump to 1st and only got a chirp. Long story short, we were proud of the chirp given the car.

My cousin has a 03 Mustang Cobra, and hes had some warrenty work done on it, and for a retail, they always give him a Ford Windstar van.

my personal thought based on having seen this type of crap before on cars, when they took the door panel off to reconnect the side view mirror switch, the douche bag who calls himself a mechanic didn't properlly seal everything back or bumped the grommet they claim is bad. all it takes with the 3" of rain we had this weekend.

I swear though, is it me of do rental cars burn gas faster. Everytime I get a rental, I have to fill it up twice a week, but my car only gets filled up every 2 to 3 weeks.

we had to put my ol mans 04 dodge 3500 in the shop about a month ago and we requested a full size pickup. they gave us a dodge 1500 with a hemi in it. we had about an inch of rubber hanging off the exhaust pipe when we took it back.
