A question for those in college...

is not the whole point of a GI bill to pay for education and educational related expenses??

that is the point of it...but if i was to get a full ride...everything paid for(which tuition is) all that is just money in my pocket. Its more to help you not be a poor college student.

It would just be nice to not have a job and still be makin 1k a month between the gi bill, kicker, and drill pay

I say use the GI Bill. I used it and it came in handy. I would get 1K per month since I was a full time student. I also had a full time job.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif But the GI Bill is my pick.

And if you end up having to go into active duty, and god forbid you get yourself killed, if you have no dependent, the GI money will disappear.

15 hours should keep you plenty busy. I generally work my *** off over the summer, and have a weekly allowance. I do work part time for a on campus position for extra cash. Bars and women are expensive.
