A Day @ The Arcade

This was really your first time seeing a DDR freak? I'm guessing you don't live on the west coast, cuz if I go to any arcade with DDR I'm bound to see one of those people. When we had a DDR at our school arcade, there was always someone on it. People doing flips, 180s, 360s, even playing the entire song while not facing the screen. Most of em actually practice at home since you can get the game for playstation. But hey, at least those nerds are getting the cardio they so desperately need.

Well I didn't know they had that thing for playstation, I thought it was pathetic that the guy obviously hung out at the arcade so much, he had everything memorized. I think I saw him there last time I went about 6 months or so ago.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say he was either Asian, or a skinny white guy with big glasses.

People take that shit pretty seriously from what I have seen. One time i see this fat kid getting ready to pass out hanging his whole entire body on the bar behind him but his feet some how kept dancing...****ing amazing.

My sister's boyfriend lost 170+ pounds...starting with DDR. Obviously moving on to a better diet and alternative forms of exercise, but that's where he started.

With that said, my sister and her boyfriend also went to school with a kid - who until recently was beat by a 12 year old (or some very young child) - who was the top DDR player in the world apparently. Could hit the 300 beat per minute songs without missing a step...he used to play in tournaments and such as his source of income.

Apparently when you get to that level there is a huge dispute though about the machines with bars and those without...as to using which makes you "better."

At any rate, I think it's a fun game to play. I **** horribly at it, but it's good for a group of people to do and lighten the mood once in a while.

Its a sick game when you think about it. My friend is kinda nerdy and is into it, but he's pretty decent, and its cool to watch. At least they can do shit to make stuff their style in these tournaments, which is pretty cool. You don't see many games where you can put your own style into it(outside the game).

DDR is a great way to get some exercise. They have it for the xbox and Ps2. I know a guy who lost a bunch of wait from playing it @ home every day. I tried it but never really liked the game that much.

Sweet, I may try dis shit, lol!

I need to lose about 30 more pounds.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Maybe I will be able to club now.

Doubt it. Sucks to have 2 left feet!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
