Step one - remove wire connections from amplifier terminals
Step two - place amplifer in open space

Step three - cover amplifier in flamable liquid

Step four - ignite

Step five - buy a real amplifier

between that or letting that amp fall 8 stories to the ground and then getting a real amp, you'll be alright

Well I do have them money but the problem comes down to SIZE + Wieght.
It a major factor on my car, an 1999 Altima.

The sub and the box alone is already what 80lbs? I have a Boss Amp under my driver seat for the sub and a kenwood amp under the passanger side for the speaker system; JBL's and I installed the copassator under the AC Vents of my car just next to the gas petal. All in all I added what, 130lbs? in equipment to my vehcial. I dont want to strap an amp to the trunk or anywere in that area of the car its heavy enough as it is. And I was unable to find an amp the size of the Boss to fit under my seat......I dont know should I just kill the Boss amp and go with something crazzy/ but then again I have no room and making room is a *****. Then I would have to buy more cables....$2 ft addes up. Soo Im looking at adding another Boss.... or what? Just trying to find out the best solusion. THanks for the help guys. I might consider burning the Boss later in the end lol. WHats the best Amp for this Sub? I want it to shake every god dam thing on the block. hehehhee

dude a decent amp will weight 10-30lbs....thats it....if you're worried about ur speed because ur car is being weighed down then you done need a 69lb (accual weight) on top of the weight for the box. if you take out the boss amp (as NEEDED) that'll free up some weight for the next amp..... with the added weight already in there you're not goingto notice a differance if you take out one amp and put in another (unless you get an oldschool US amps that 5 feet long, however unlikely)....

the advise these guys have given you are true to the truth. upgraded ur electrical system. get a real 1500 watt amp and set your gains correctly and you'll have nose ticklingly great boom

I'm sorry, did you say you have a capacitor installed next to your gas pedal?
