99 S-10 Standard Cab, Box Design -Help-

My buddy just got a 10" JL w3... And we're gonna try and make a box for it tomorrow... The book says 1.7cubic feet... Problem is I know we don't have alot of space to work with... If I can get some dimensions from someone who has made a box for one before, I'd appreciate it... Thanks...

I've got some designs for a wedge style box....

The dimensions are:

WIDTH: 36 inches

HEIGHT 1: 15 inches

HEIGHT 2: 3 inches

DEPTH: 12 inches

THICKNESS: .75 (3/4)

Gives an enclosure volume of about 1.5 feet.

Ported... round port... pvc... 3" diameter, 7.7" in length. This tunes the box to around 35 Hz.

I'm sure if you played with the numbers a bit though, you could easily get the 1.75 cubic feet. I'd just make the box a little longer. Maybe 42 inches?
