99 Jimmy

Hey guys I Totaled my car and now have a Jimmy. My question is I picked up a set of Alpine Type-s components cause it has 6.5 speaker mounts. Should I just stay with them or pull my Polk MM 5 1/4s out of the car and get adapters? I'm going to power them with my Cadence ZRS-C9 and use my Cadence S2 10s still. Thanks in advance

Whys that? And both sound good. I was just thinking the 6.5s would probably produce better bass then the 5 1/4s

In theory, they should. I have never ran any alpine speakers, but my polk 6x9's do pretty good in my rear doors. The mids and highs sound pretty good on the oem boston acoustic amp.
