99 grand prix gtx for sale

ZZP has a modified 3800 Grand Prix that will run the 1/4 mile in something stupid like 8 seconds. You can make these cars plenty fast, VERY easy. And they handle pretty well for what they are. Most importantly: they're pretty **** reliable. We have ClubGP members who have their original engines with 250K+ miles with nothing but oil changes. They will definitely outlive most cars...certainly Jeeps *cough* And for the record, 4 door grand prixs weigh about 3400 lbs.
Bump for a great car. Good luck with the sale.
My '00 WJ has 300k miles & counting, bubba.

I have a '10 Camaro SS, I know more about GM vehicles than you think.

& so what.....I've seen Ford Pinto's run 10sec 1/4 miles.....anything can be made to go fast.

Point is....Grand Prix's are slow, & yes, that includes yours too.

I think you are getting off subject. Your seriously comparing a zo6 corvette to a grand prix gtx. For a grocery getter, its pretty quick. With the price you pay for the z06 you can make a prix run faster. Even with it being a fwd on the drag strip. 3800's are pretty solid motors. Fast don't only apply to the drag strip by the way.
If you have the money to buy a Z06 modding price is no issue. Price has othing to do with anything. I can buy a '69 Nova shell for a grand, put $10k in it & run 9sec 1/4 miles.

this thread is still 5 years old
so........

no it isn't //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
saying a grand prix is fast is stupid
for its class, no its not. Everything in this world when being compared is put into a class, cars are no different, and for a 4000lb 4 dr car its fast. for a two door coupe a vette is fast.

Price has nothing to do with anything but you where comparing a corvette to a prix. To him a prix may be fast, but that may have been the fastest car they have been in. Once you're in a drag car, everything seems slow. I have an 87 firebird with a 406, shaved and worked dart heads, KB flat tops, 495/502, N/A and not on the bottle. Fastest I've ever went was 7.19 in the 1/8th. You may even say thats slow. To me, thats fast, because its the quickest I have went.

BTW, Like your avatar -01limited-, lol

fastest car I've rode in was a Lotus turning high 7 sec 1/4 miles.

I;m just trying to get my 72 virgins man, its all achmed can do.

Then that goes to show you the simple fact that your definition of fast is different than most others. Not saying your lieing, but I cant see a Lotus running under 8 secs in the 1/4. 1/8 is possible, but to get across the 1/4 line in under 8 secs you would need to be going about 200 mph. Unless its a modified tube chassis car with the car lengthened and one hell of a boosted motor. Most the Lotus' are made for curves with a small wheel base, why would anyone want to build one for a drag strip.
