Where can you pickup some badass 14 volt batts at?

Ive never seen a 14 volt battery, dont doubrt they have them though...and another thing if he had 16 volt batts then they wouldnt be charging right at less than 16 volts so his high voltage MLA setup wouldnt work correctly on 16 volt batts.

What would be the proper batts for this situation? Would mixing some small 4 volts in line with the 12 volts? wire up to 16 volts total. lol i really dont have a clue, just being a smart ***...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

arent these 12v batts if so 15.9v isnt a good idea you will cook them soon and they will not hold a charge 15.3v is what the max you should run on 12v batts.
i a battery cooka!!

naw when i first start up and are cold it usually goes to 15.8-15.9 for a little while before settling back down to the 15.3-15.4 area. i just caught it while it was all cold and took off down the hwy and happened to get 16.0 for a split second

Might not want to run the MLA switched to the higher charge at first start up. I have the switchable to and the paper work that came with it says I don't need to have it switched to high for the initial start ups. Hell with mine switched or not, I will stay all day at 15.4v at the rear batteries. If it gets extremely hot they will go to 14.9 at times.

But that 16v is definately taking the cycle life out of your batteries.

your making me miss having a loud system //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
it has its ups and downs

The correct thing would be to either find 14V batteries, or Wire some similar composition 2V cells in series with the 12v.

Technically...

There are batts meant for 16+ volts
But he not consistantly running 16+, so again not technically supposed to run those either. They would be undercharged all the time.

Thank you for answering that. I figured there were 14 volt batts out there, I don't know if any of them are worth a **** though. I cant find a single one online, besides drill batteries. Anyone know of some?

I knew of wiring them to use a smaller batt with a bigger batt in series, but never heard of people doing that for daily use. Dont know what kind of problems youd run into with that. But Ive seen only a handful of people do it for burps and stuff, nothing like beating on it for hours at a time like Jonathan does at shows and demos. and around his town. lol:laugh:
