jonathen what are your opinions for a box like this comapered to a wall? im torn between the two

a wall will effectively fill way more cabin area , and eliminate alot of rear leakage/flex

Ya I would want much more aswell in 20 cubes, ive got more for my 15's in less space and I could still use more.

How did the router like going through this screw?

200 should be fine , seems like the port design will unload fast tho

So true, my rear hatch used to bounce around like it was gonna break hinges, walled it, barely moves at all now, getting used to not having a rear view is a little hard though

18cuft tuned to 34hz, 230sq inch port.

I doubt more mat will make any difference, when it comes to deadening mat, diminishing returns are dominant with more layers.

It shouldnt move at all with the wall done right...right?and thats why i dont wanna wall it,cause i still want to be able to see out of the back of my hoe..remember its just a daily driver

Im not doing a wall right now..no need too..plus i want to be able to see.ive heard from a ton of people that have switched from boxes like mine to walls and lost dbs...its a wierd game..i might wall in the future...but i think ill be fine for a lil while

it will,i know yall hate the word meade over here but his port is only 150sqi and he dont have any issues...and it peforms quite well

wasnt a screw FYI..so it went thru the wood quite well right there ..was either where the routin started or ended and made a little nic..no biggie

For you to even say that without thinking about what your saying speaks volumes about your know how on boxes. If that's the case over half of the boxes you had looks like someone else's. No one person has a pat on a box design sorry for the rant jp but that was just uncalled for there an newbielicous lol.

its really just a personal choice , alot of people would rather have a box than a wall , but i guess alot of factors play in a choice like that . .
