yeah i was happy with my old 7871 but somehow i lost the faceplate:crying:Alpine hasn't had a top level deck in awhile that has basic "bass" and "treble" settings. My 9815 didn't and my 7998 doesn't either. The last deck I remember them on was my 7949 if I recall correctly.

why did you pay all that money for something you don't want to "LEARN" about? i guess you just like your music to sound like shite. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifi probably just have too much deck for what i really need it for. If i was building a sq car, this would be a great deck but i'm mildly retarded when it comes to setting crossovers and slopes and all that stuff.
that's always a problem.and its not really "all that money" as i'm not pressed by cash
or i could ignore all the pompous ***** like yourself who think there is something noble in giving others a hard time. You may now keep your opinion to yourself and let me worry about how the system in my car sounds......because after all, all other things aside, its mine, meant for MY ears, and theres nothing you can really do about it.that's always a problem.
maybe it DOESN'T sound like shit, but it WOULD definitely sound a whole lot better if you learned how to work the unit you bought. instead of buying something thinking it's the "in" thing, just because you can. ther's many people on here that can't throw money around like you obviously can and stated, that would appreciate buying a unit like the 9887 and learn everything it does and can do. since you are "not pressed by cash" maybe the right thing to do would be trade someone on here for their 9881 straight up since the 9881 is really simple to use and does have bass/treble controls for your awesome sounding system.
