98 grand am False floor Install

There not really 2x4s lol , so i will call em just the riser type pieces of wood cut for the base between top piece:)

Angle shot cut for riser pieces (again don't mind my jigsaw cutting im not the best especially at 9 a.m. haha).

Top piece sub cut out & amp cut out also.

Yet another test fit this time for top piece for sub & amp

Drew out the lines to cut the plexi-glass to put over the sub amp.

Still uploading pics

Plexi-glass mounted on the MDF over the amp to give it a nice clean look //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

It's almost done real close just waiting on carpet (also listened to it sounds good:)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif)[url=http://img79281.pictiger.com/images/16876492/]

How it all look's at night , but still need's to be carpeted & also so final touches:D:). but overall im very happy with the way it came out and so is she:D.

Thanks man:). nah it's not done yet guy's plan on taking carpet same color as the trunk at carpeting the whole thing. so the cut-out's going to make sure your not going to see. overall i think for my first ever false floor install i was very happy with it:D:).

Also i want to take off the RF trim ring and get one of those barred grille's for this 10" that way if she did throw something in the trunk or something did happen it wouldn't go through the actual sub .

Does anyone know where i could find some carpet to try to come real close to the same color as the carpet in the trunk local? want to try to avoid having to order it if possible. thx guys:).

Did you glass your shell for the sub box to the top piece? Also, get some jigsaw practice mang //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
