well alot of this will be copy and pasted from mp3car because Right now i'm focusing on the carputer, but it will have alot of stuff i hope you guys will be interested in and give me your thoughts on.

Well i guess since i'm starting i'll post my beginning pictures. I just got this car so i'm trying to pay it off and work on it at the same time.

Heres what i want to use:

( ) GPS software

~Audio~

(x) 12" 06 L7 in 1.3 Ft^3 Sealed Box

(x) Kenwood 9102d amp for sub

(x) Alpine 9860 DVD Headunit

( ) New Front components

( ) Kenwood 7252 or 7202 for components

( ) Sound deadening

( ) Alpine H701

So i finally have my skin started, i have the main, audio player, and web skin pages done. The others are in the works. Here are some shots of them.

I just painted the monitor I'm not sure if i like the grey it came out to be. It's plastic textured paint but it has a little shimmer (looks like a lot in the pictures) I'm going to have to wait for it to dry so i can take it out and put it in the camaro and see what it looks like. anyways here are the pictures of it just after paint

That was my best picture due to the glare and they never look the same color as in person, but I'll get more of it when the monitor is in. I also plan on repainting the other pieces that it is suppose to be matching because i like the little "shimmer".

Here is what I did today May 8th

Made my cover up today. I'm thinking I'm going to add a plexi window in and etch Krypton Customs in it. On with the pictures

Here it is all covered up, i can't seem to find one with both the amp and cover on :S but you get the picture

the control pc will be for lights, windows and a few other things. i would like to have it running on a seperate pc the second screen can be dedicated to the touch screen interface i'm going to use.

I wish I could build a carputer. Would be the shizzle, too bad I have a Dodge 1.5 din and my AC is directly above it so no flip screen unless I want to slowly die in the heat.

i have a flipout monitor, but i keep it folded up most all the time.
