97' Blazer, 4 12" SX's, 2 2500d's, What speakers should I throw in?

Drowning out my speakers, they are just stock no amp. What should I go with, there's six speakers. Not sure of the sizes tho

I have a 97 bravada.........youll have 6.5"s in each door, and tweets on the dash.

sounds like you need something loud to keep up with that. maybe some boston Z6's with an orion 8002 amp.

I have a 00 blazer..you have 6.5s in all 4 doors and 4x6s in the dash...i have 3 12's and my bump over powers my doors and dashes like you...but i got all new door speakers and dash speakers..i went with alpines for the doors and pioneers for dash..might wanna go with something with a little more bump..yeah like bostons or umm diamond maybe..and for an amp get something big like 75x4 amp at 4 ohm really depends on speakers..i have a 4 channel that i need to install to beef it all up..my speakers are liek 40w rms for the doors and 20rms for the dash..all last years models 2005 stuff...my 4 channel is like 25x4@4 ohm..it will sound nice..make sure you got all the crossovers you need..thats a mistake i made..my doors didnt have crossovers but my dashes did...but hey my Hu has them all in there..just nice to have extras...i wonder do you have any room for that big 4 channel you wanna get??..with 4 12's 2 big amps..and a blazer..my blazer is stuffed with just 3 12's but my box is like 7 cubes...your blazer sounds cool..another blazer owner helpin another..thanks man nice thread

I have a 97 Bravada......He doesnt have 4 x 6 plates in the dash. Tweets are in the dash.

Also, theres no reason to replace all six speakers- if the original poster were to get a competent set of components up front, properly powered, he would be fine.

oh ok..must humm 97..yeah you are right...well my blazer a 2000 has 4x6 in the dash...there werent much there when i took them out..i guess just a little tweet...ripped them out put some nice pioneers in..cheap..but on budget...i believe like 120 for the pair...they are 3 way...comps up front sounds nice..good idea..i am outta idea for now
