96 Jeep Cherokee

id leave it looking stock unless the paint was all shitty, and put the 5k into a stereo/badass 2way alarm.

you put rims on it, in a place like charleston, it will just draw attention to it and make you more likely to get jacked, especially if its a daily driver.

First off, tint the windows. Spend a solid $1000 into the stereo system. You do not need to spend a whole lot more, practically any subs you throw in the trunk will be nearly unbearably loud. Put some nice 18-20" rims on it, along with some new tires. An alarm/remote start system would be nice as well. You could always throw some cold cathodes/neoons/LED's on the interior or under the car if thats your style. Throw on a flowmaster 40 exhaust kit. Also you can cut some f150 springs and it will lower your ride an inch or so. You can get creative if you can do bodywork. And have access to a welder.

I imagine people think it's dumb, but I have a 93 with shaved handles, tailgate, no fender flares and a custom rollpan. I'm switching the front header panel and maybe the fenders to a 97+ and will be making a full phantom grille. It looks shitty right now since all I have is rattlecan paint on it and the pan is rusting until i can weld it, but itll hopefully look badass eventually. In matte black.

And here in the south, rims go on anything. Just don't get those retarded DUB rim plaques.

life it really high, put some big tires on it tint your windows dark. use 1000 maybe on a system.

The 2nd generation Grand Cherokees look much better with large rims than the 1st gen. IMO. Here's my buddy Mike's on Boyd Coddington 22's.
