Box: 1.5 cubes net, tuned to 38hz, 33 sq inches of port area, 3/4 inch on the ends

Finished product...yes, that is 8 guage speaker wires, overkill? just alittle...

SD208’s with 1.4 cube box tuned to 36 with 4 inch port…box was build previously for two 10's sealed...i added the 4 inch port...

Looks pretty sick! You should tape the ends up when you paint the port next time so that you don't get paint all over the ends that are going to be glued.

looks good, i like the round over port.. Ive never messed with 10s but isnt 33sq.in. of port area a lil small?

You know, it would have been better had you mounted the subs on the top baffle as well. Even still, 1" MDF would have been sufficient alone.

The enclosure was for two 10s originally so I don't think that would have been possible with the way he did it.

i was orginally going to do a 2.0 with 40sq inch of port but dd said 1.5 and 24sq in of port was good enough:crap:

i do kinda regret it now not going with my orginal plans...i think that would have been better...

for the seams where the two different carpet met, i first screwed the box together then drew a line where the side piece of the box met the top,bottom,front and back pieces, then took my circular saw and saw a 1/4 inch deep line through that line i drew, that way i had some space to tuck the extra carpet into so it looks cleaner...

the blank carbon fiber is sick
