93 explorer rebuild Loud isn't pretty

Well guy's i thought i might post up pics of the rebuild i was doing.

Vechile: 1993 ford explorer

headunit: Alpine 9887

Sub Amp : Autotek mm3000.1 (hopefully on its way:().

Frontstage amp: Massive ca100

frontstage: Decent alpine type s comps

All deadned , BIG 3 , All 1/0awg runs.

Now onto the pics 4 u guys:D:).

Got the first flair glued.

The ABS plastic adhesive&primer i had used on the aeroports.

Got one set of flairs mounted to the outside of the box for externals;)

Got one threaded rod through(Note: I used a threader into the MDF to actually thread the threaded rod though the hole so better fit).

Was made sure to put the nut&washer on inside also(my friend brandon helpn out).

Washer&bolt mounted inside of box tightned down nice and tight.

Sadly forgot to take pic of other threaded rod when i did it but here's shot of em once they were both in & mounted.

Taped off the aeroports to get the box ready for paint

May look like sh*t right now but wait till u see when it's done. (Primered it first.)

(Note: Mdf soaks up paint real bad so youll see later on why i did all of this).

There is about 4 coats of white underneath this first coat of flat black.

What i started on while was waiting for the box to dry(Much thanks to lance for the copper).

Got one of the first copper buss bars on front batt (right one is the old ones used to have) they were decent got em done free so can't complain.

Got both copper buss bars mounted down and all holes cut(Note: the 3rd BIG 3 wire will still be added hopefully sometime this week pos off alt to pos on terminal fused).

Sadly didn't get pics of 45s/resin with camera because was outta batts that day:(. But here is shot of the box finally all done with the sub in

Siliconed the bottom of the gasket and also the ductape trick and finally all paint done to it also 4 coats of flat black after that primer u saw earlier.

I know not that pretty but this build more about performance then looks for the most part.

Only thing i didn't do audio related to this build put my 10k H.i.d. kit in which i love i'll never go back to normal bulbs:D. (Much thanks to my friend mike for a badass christmas present).

(Just wish my camera didn't **** and could pick up the real nice brightness of this kit). But better then no pics i guess lol. Well guys be sure to lmk what ya think all my pics finally uploaded a half hr/hr later haha.

 
i keep seeing these ports that are on the outside of the box,it must really turbo the bass so to speak.i might have to break down and try one.oh and once you go HID lol,there is no turning back now
