91' Buick

I have a 200 watt amp I want to install into a 91' Buick Regal Custom w/ factory tape player. Can someone tell me where the three wires go? I really am not an idiot, but I want to know if I can hook it up.

just cause you're inexperienced doesn't make you stupid. most amps have RCA type inputs and most factory decks dont have RCA outputs. The only way to accomplish that would be to find some high-low splitters. I personally don't like them at all but it makes it possible. i hope i've been helpful.

three wires

black to bare metal......ground

blue to switched power.......remote turn on (something switched with radio or ignition)

red to constant power preferably battery........constant power

for starters take the factory tape deck and throw it as far as possible get a cd player and listen to the shiet right . then figure were to put the wires
