900rms @ .5ohm

I need a amp for 3 12W3v3-2. They will be at .66ohm so i want a amp that's .5 stable, around 900wrms and needs to be less then $350 is they're anything out there for me?

just get something that does 1000w at 1 ohm. You will be just fine after box rise. Especially since those coild probably read a little higher than the spec sheet says (I know my D2s all read around 2.4)

I have a Kicker XS50 mint like new shape ...this is a clean class AB amp ...not class D (distortion) of today....last of the true American made Kicker...not Chinese new kicker crap.... i see a lot of amp that do 1000rms @ 1ohm but i don't know if they would over heat or go in to protection @.5ohm.

Put all the specs for the subs into WinISD and put in the parameters for your box. Then do an impedance plot and see what you get for min impedance. It will probably be well above 1 ohm.

To simplify it....

if the sub is wierd down to .66 when you put it in the subwoofer box the impedence will rise due to a few factors. It always happens. So if it is wierd at .66 then after box rise and once the coils are warm I bet that it will sit over 1ohm. So you can run a amp that does rated power at 1 ohm. An example would be one of my last systems where I had a dual .7 woofer and a amp that did rated power at 2ohms. I wierd the sub @ 1.4 but after rise I was seeing 2.1 at the amp which is right in its sweet spot.

And like I said, your coils probably don't read exactly at nominal impedence. Take a DMM and measure the coil impedence. I know my 2 ohm coils read at around 2.4 ohms each.

I would try and find a used Sundown SAZ-1500d. Plenty of headroom, and is perfectly fine below 1 ohm.
