$900 to spend

I am new at caraudio and i have a 96 ford explorer that i jus got fixed up and now i have $900 left over to spend on a audio system i already got the alpine 9813 hu and the infiniti speakers and plan on gettin a 4-chan amp last. now wat i was thinking is 2 alpine x's wit a maaudio hc4000.2 amp but i still dont know i am looking for spl and sq

I think he needs a decent 2 channel amp, JL 300/2, Hifonics zx4000 ect. I would then grab an Adire 12 or RE XXX that way he can have both SQ and SPL. Throw in a Hifonics 1500 or JBL 1200 and call it a day. Use whatever is left over for dynamat.

Or, if you don't mind taking up some storage space in the back of that explorer, you could get two Tempest and port them. That would be loud as fvck, sound good, and cost you not a heck of a lot of money.

well the tempests are very efficient. you dont need alot of power to get them to move. i have heard the sweet spot being about 500 per speaker. so any amp with 1000 at 2 ohms bridged.. hifonics BX1500D is pretty cheap and were up untill lately considered a great amp for the money and it still is....
