eyewitnesses are often the worst clues in a crime. if 10 poeple see something happen you will get 10 different accounts.

I personally trust the countless witnesses over some geek making a website criticizing the government for the attacks and putting his own spin on what he thinks happened.

I call BS on all of it, every one of the theories were just stupid rediculous, and with no respect for the people that died that horrible day.

But, there is one detail which eliminates 99% of the "witnesses," instantly - what they DON'T describe!

No one described being terrified by the noise of a large low-flying jet aircraft.

The aircraft was alleged to have passed low over major buildings, yet no one describes it as "big;" certainly not "deafening." A B-757 is supposed to have passed low over so many people, yet no one was frightened by the overwhelming noise of a 757, doing 300 Knots. That noise would have been more memorable than most visual details.

The approach-departure "Doppler Effect" would have left a frightening impression, as the frequency of the engine noise built, then faded. Still, there are no such descriptions.

But anyway, you don't personally believe the hundreds of witnesses who saw the incident? The Pentagon security guards? The people stuck in traffic on highways west of the Pentagon? Hell, even several USA TODAY reporters witnessed the event from the USA Today building!

come on now....when you seen the "video" of the pentagon...that has to at least raise a question in your mind. That video shows nothing at all....

I dont think any of it actually happend. I think it was filmed in a hollywood studio and then put on T.V.

Kinda like the man walking on the moon for the first time.

This again backs up my statement that people are forming their opinions based on false information. I'm not going to go look up exact figures right now, but dozens to hundreds of people did state hearing the jet engines, seeing the airplane, and hearing it push to full throttle as it approached the pentagon. Even people who weren't in a position to see the airplane stated hearing the roar of a jet engine flying nearby and pushing to full throttle just before hearing the impact.

Eye witnesses are unreliable at remembering minor details of an event. Not the sound of a 757 flying extremely low, or seeing a plane fly just tens of yards over the ground (and possibly their head) and strike the side of the pentagon.

It was a security camera set to record one frame per second (not unusual for security cameras). When the plane hit the pentagon it was traveling at 530 MPH, which is equivalent to approximately 777 feet per second. Which means from one frame to the next, the plane would have traveled a distance of 777 feet. Ofcourse it's not going to show much........
