8's vs a 15

ok.... four 8's ported..4 cubes or one 15 ported in 4 cubes with the same power. the 15 in an hdc3 by the way. what would be better for daily???? any opinons???

the goal is just to be a bit louder. i like the hdc3 i have... was just thinkn i could get louder with more cone area and WITH the power i have right now

For daily with with very nice 8" it would sound great

If you put 2k+ on the HDC3 it will probbaly get louder, at teh expense of SQ.

So if you want to be louder get kicker 2500.1 on that HDC3 or something.

i have a mmats DHCx2200.1 amp on the hdc3 now... iv tried a few diff boxes and tuned high n low. im not say'n i dont like it by all means

my aq's sound great @ high volumes... id say keep the 15" maybe design a better box with more power first.

I love my 8's, but haven't had the chance to compare them to a 15" with the same amount of power i have now.
