8's or 10's?

Hey guys it's been awhile since I've been on here. Just went to slamology last weekend, and it was my first comp/time on the meter lol. Well anyways I hit a 135.6 @ 30hz with my sundown x 12 on a saz2000 (stock electrical with a xs xp3000 in the trunk). I'm planning on doing a build and wanted to know if I should go with 3-4 8's (not sure which ones yet, but I have ideas) or 2 x 10's. It's mainly gonna be a dd, but I'm probably gonna build a second box for when I go to shows. Any suggestions would be great

I'm getting everything together for my build. Going to run 3 SQ 8's but might do 4 now. Which 8's you have in mind to use ?

I have quite a few I was looking at (but all my friends are sundown nuthuggers, so I need other input lmao) but I'm looking at either the sa 8's, x 8's (when they come out), dc m3 8's, or some crossfire 8's

Depending on the quantity I get will effect how I'll wire them, most likely 2ohms for daily then .5 for comps. I'm gonna go overkill my electrical with my next 2 paychecks haha

Yeah I hear ya. Is the sundown amp you have going to be the amp you use or getting something bigger.

I'll probably get something bigger, probably between 2.5-3.5k @ 1ohm.
