I have had some problems with tweeters under or in front of the mid bass. 8's tweets and then 6's going towards the middle might sound weird. Tweets and 6's in the doors and 8's on the floor might work better? Idk.

im using a set of jlaudio c5's i'll post pic's of those when the pods are done cause i still gotta take them out my doors...

i don't have the 8's yet but will buy some when i finish the pods and start the doors

IMO, a smaller midrange would be easier to deal with tuning, as you don't really need the midbass potential if you have 8's in the doors anyway.
