8s for midbass

So i havent had my subs hooked up for the last week or so and i have noticed that the midbass in my car isnt up to par with my standards. Right now, ive got the 6.5 type rs that are doing my midbass and med highs and some 4x6s and tweeters for the highs.

I know that running 2 different sizes of subs makes the quality bad, but, if i were to put a couple 8s in for just midbass, I shouldnt get much, if any, interference with the sub frequencies, right?

to sum up, 2 15s for lows and 2 8s for midlows should be ok?

The inductance of a subwoofer is too high to do midbass. For midbass, you need a midbass driver.
Kicker makes the SS midbass and its pretty nice for the money. $100 for a pair of 8s... Cant beat that.

would that also do some decent lows. I snowboard alot in the winter so the subs are usually out so i was hoping that i could retune the 8s when the 15s go out so i can atleast hear some bass.

right now no subs=no bass

FOR THIS

They are midbass speakers. They play midbass.
A subwoofer is a subbass speaker. It plays subbass.
