8" L7 or dd 1508?? I have an orion 1200d (425 @ 4 ohms) which would get louder and which would sound better? Thanks for any suggestions

DD 1508, or the L7 are going to be loud off that power, basically depends on what your looking for on output...SPL, SQ, or a mix (SQL)

I think either the L7 or the DD will work in your case it will be install dependant, I guess go with the 1 you can get for a better deal. The Aq SD 2-8 would work as well very well actually.

I did a 151.6 30 sec average in USACi Street Beat 1 on 4 DD 1508's a couple of weeks ago...I was told the meter started off at a 152.6 on my first run when something messed up with my system...the 2nd run I started at a lower volume 150.6 then rolled it up to the 151.6.....remember that is a 30sec average not a peak hold...there are ups and downs in the music...As far as ground pounding BASS you can get them out of DD 1508's...
