I had a 860MP which I could easily go from no volume to max volume in about 2 turns of the knob, ever since I got my 800PRS I have found it annoying to have to turn the knob about 5 times to get to peak volume.

Like the Clarions, is there a way to change the volume knob scale on the 880/800PRS's?

Got an 800.....never once turned up the volume up using the knobs.

Not sure of your settings, but I used the loudness on the HU and I'm decent at about 12-15. Amp settings are stock on a pdx 4.150 as well.

Edit: Sub amp or subs not installed yet.

I know what you are talking about...the volume know sucks on those units. Instead of turning it fast, try turning it slower and the volume will increase faster. I think the rotary encoder is not very good, so it kinda skips as you move it fast.

Yeah thats 100% true but turning it slower defeats the purpose! Man, I really miss my 860MP.

NOW, what makes this "issue" even worse is that I have the HU wired to my steering wheel controls, which is kind of slow, so I have the hold the button down for a while!
