Hey all, new to this forum, not new to the audio world though.

designing a system for my 88' f350 crew cab truck. all custom cabinets and sectioning off the door panels to get the proper volume for the in-door drivers. someone suggested to me to get a component system. can someone here sell me on it? i beleive i can do it cheaper without.

on a budget if you need multiple amps to run your mids and highs i suggest the VVME 4080, for $53, its a rebadge of the audiopipe 4080 and it has 2x25a fuse and power is 80wx4 @ 4ohms. since you camp a lot you can get a 2nd battery and run a solenoid so the back battery an be drained but your front battery will still have power to start your truck.
