I have a friend that is selling both a v1 and an 8500 used. The v1 is $130 but doesn't have the cable (I know a new one can be ordered easily) and the 8500 is $150 with the cable and remote option along with the mounting accessories. My question is which one would you buy? He and along with a few other people that have owned both told me to get the 8500. I have heard the v1 is supposed to be the best but the 8500 is also very good. I need some opinions from you guys on what you think I should buy. I need feedback pretty quickly b/c he will probably have both sold by tonight if I don't buy one.
