ok i have done some searching and have not really found wat im looking for.. i am about to buy a 81 Buick Regal and i would like to know how many subs i could fit in the trunk..

I was thinking something along the lines of maybe 4 12's, 2 18s, or 8 10's.

But like i said i have not got to measure. If anyone has any input please let me know. Also let me know of some subs.. i was going to go with 4 type r 12's.

thanks in advance

My friends got Buicks and one has 4 15's sealed other has 3 12's sealed too thats the most. Ive seen. They take up at least 85% of your trunk space after you include putting the amp/s somewhere.

Friends 83 Regal. 2 18's, 2 15's, 4 5.25 Fosgate power , 4 super tweeters lol.

Trunk was for the Hydraulics.

you could fit 4 12s in there no problem. my 87 has a single 15 in a 5cubic ft box, along with 6 group 31 batts and 2 hydraulic pumps...but it is a pretty tight fit. Let me know if you want some trunk measurements.

I have an 82 Bonneville that probably has a similar trunk.

The thing is that the trunk is shallow but pretty big.

You could do 4 12's but I think if you do 15's or 18's you would have to fire them upwards. Rear firing always seemed the best in mine.

The bonneville's have 4x10's in the back dash, so I always scrap those so that there is some venting between the trunk and cabin. Once I did that and threw some sound deadening on the lid it was like night and day.

I love the G bodiesHere is my 87 Regal Grand National......
