80sq ft Of Damplifier or 120sq ft of eDead v1se^2

Both are around the same price. I am wondering what would be a better option. 80sq ft of Damplifier OR 120sq ft of eDead v1se^2

Looking to deaden:

Both Front Doors (20sq ft each) = 40sq ft Total

Trunk Lid/Area (30 sq ft) = 30sq ft Total

Rear Deck (10 sq ft) = 10sq ft Total

So 80sq ft total of Damplifier

OR

Both Front Doors (30sq ft each) = 60sq ft Total

Trunk Lid/Area (30 sq ft) = 40sq ft Total

Rear Deck (10 sq ft) = 20 sq ft Total

So 120sq ft total of eDead v1se^2

the damps are pretty much supperior is everyway except price....

The filpside to lots of dampening material is that you will loose overall db's....if you ever have aspirations of compeiting this should be an issue on your mind,....if not then have at it.

No, will never compete, not with this car anyways.

I wouldn't consider 100sq ft of dampening to be a lot, but we will see.

hell yea best bang for your buck amp. what other amp can you get 200 rms x 2 @ 4 in the sexiest chassis ever? (for 150 shipped to your door) ive got mine at a tad over 1/2 gain (around 120 rms) and it is absolutely amazing. the SLCs show no sort of stress, so i may bump the wattage up soon

100 isnt that much, and i dont see where the negative effects come in. i think the more the better, plus you'll kill a ton of road noise:yumyum:

80 sf of Damplifier will be more effective than 120 sf of eDead. Damplifier's adhesive is far superior and has better visco-elastic properties. The biggest difference is that the new eDeads use a very thin Mylar constraining layer instead of Damplifier's very thick aluminum foil. Mylar does nothing to reinforce panels - it is cheaper, but really compromises the product.

Vibration dampers like these increase SPL by reducing energy lost to panel flex and resonance. SPL competitors all use some form of vibration damping. It's the foams you want to avoid if maximum SPL is your goal.

Like I've said. I want to rid the rattles of the rear deck, and trunk lid...front doors too, but I want to improve the midbass on the doors as well.
