800 watts what size speaker wire?

I have 2 assassins and am going to feed them with a kicker zx750.1. This is the installation kit i am going to get http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=eKo-K4 but is 16 gauge wire big enough? And what happens if it isn't big enough?

For a short run like that, 16awg is fine...go to 14awg if it really worries you.
