$800 to $1200 6.5? which ones!!!

Hey guys I just got my 2011 jeep grand Cherokee what components should I get looking to do front and rear willing to spend 800 to 1200 a set I listen mostly to metal and rap I've been looking at the mlk hertz but wanna know what you all think! Thanks for your help!

The Milles are amazing. Hertz higher end speakers can get increadibly loud and still maintain the slightest details. I love every set I've had. But as said before install will make or break them. They may come as a componet but you want to run them active

I do not have a processer yet and the plan is to have the shop sound denden the whole suv and custom pods to hold the components

Ask them exactly what they are going to do and what they are going to use and post here before they do it.

The Mille if you can swing it but honestly all you need is front speakers. Set up right and they can be heard many blocks away. Most of us only run fronts, if you are going to processes which you should you can do the 3 way. 6.5 in the door and 4 and tweeter on the A piller. That would be SQ heaven

If you're going through a shop you'll spend 1200 bucks on something worth maybe 400. It will take 600 minimum before speakers to get it going.

agree, your budget can get you into Hertz Mille for a front stage that will sound great - no rears. if you feel you need rears, do Hertz Hi-Energy front and rear. Great speakers and my go-to.

but you'll want an amp worth of them as well, so another grand new or get a good deal on one used.

The shop im talking with is ams in madison wi the game plan was.to do an all hurtz install but thats why im here to see what you guys think. I will also add a sub not sure yet which one I wanna go with. I was thinking mille sets front and rear would I be better off one set front door and a piller and the other in kick pannel?

I agree, the Hertz Mille line has great sounding speakers.

I just recently went with a set of speakers from Scan-Speak. I've always wanted to try them, & I'm very happy with them. This is the set I'm running. I have the ring radiator tweeter, as I have installed on axis. If your install doesn't allow for this, the regular dome is a great option.

I own a pair of the ES-6iM 6.5 mids and they sound phenomenal. Not any mid bass, but that one is also a shallow mount speaker.
