I've been trying to find the parts for a front end similar to yours, but haven't had any luck. Mine is a 93.

 
You have inspired me to do the same thing in my friend's 2004 Ford F-150 extended cab. He use a RE sr10 instead of the l7 and will be feeding it about 300 watts. Okay, 8" Kicker l7 in a sealed box did a 144 on the TL? There's no way that was sealed up on the dash.

Are you saying the mic was on the floorboard in front of the sub or something?
