8 or 6 twelves

Quick question I 'm thinking about running 8 or 6 of the cw massive 12's and was wondering what is the lowest the 8 12's and also the 6 12's be wired down to as far as ohms. They come dual 4 and 2.5 voice coil. And would the stetsom 2 6kd be good enough to run the eight. I know it should be able to handle the 6 thats only 3600 rms. Thank you

If you wired each of the 8 subs in series first then wired them parallel you would get it down to 1ohm..wireing all 8 in parallel would be a .25 ohm load.Doing each of the 6 subs in series first then paralleling them first would get you 1.66 ohm and all six in parallel would get ya about .33 ohm.

Agreed. If it will be used daily. 8 with the 1 ohm vs 6 with 1.33 ohm prob would be give or take 30 percent louder. Depending on box variance size and tuning

id do 6. 8 is a over kill and wont probebly be that loud compared to 6 because it blocks all the space.
