8 ga. power supply for 4 ga. terminal?

I'd run 0 gauge to a distro block and go from there...I'm really surprised the "2kw' amp doesn't have 0 gauge inputs...

Upon further inspection, it does have 1/0 gauge inputs.

Okay, so I need to do this:

Run 1/0 wire from car battery to trunk battery, then run 1/0 wire from trunk battery to amp. No need for a distribution block, just need inline fuse within 18" of car battery and same for trunk battery.
