Hi, I was doing a lot of reading on BCAE1.com and I decided I need to go from 8 awg to 4 awg for my amp wiring.

I was just wondering other than increasing my fuse to like a 60 agu is there anything I should know about increasing my wire size?

nothin? lol well I think I'm going to go 2 awg instead, what kind of fuse holder do you guys recommend for a 2 gauge setup?

your supposed to fuse for the wire capabilities.
I know, but thank you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

get a anl fuse holder.
Thank you (I looked it up it instead of just relying on your answers but I already had this thread up, figured I'd ask)

I'm looking into the future, in which I hope to run a AQ2200D (like 2200W)

For now I have a kenwood with subs hooked up at 2 ohms runnin 900w RMS

ok, I was going to get a few feet of 0 gauge for my big 3, should I go bigger for my big 3 and get a bunch of 0 gauge for the amp kit?

lol, thanks for the heads up, thats why I stated I'll go to 2 at the least. I was doing the math and looking at my future system and realized, 4 gauge won't cut it at all.

My current speaker wire for the subs are 12 awg (biggest thing I could find locally) Will this be a problem (I can do the math in a minute, just figured I'd ask)

not a problem at all...i run 16 gauge to the subs for now and they play fine.......12 should be more then enough...

does the AQ have 0 or 4 gauge inputs? because u may need to order some 4 gauge and have the power wire 0 distro into 4 gauge for the amps

Run 4g for power (or 1/0 if you can). There is no downside to bigger wire, and you won't have to replace it if (when) you go bigger. Speaker wire...
