8-12's vs 6-15's vs 4-18's

Hopefully i can start the build within 6 months hope if not well once i have the cash i will start the build log. I just want something stupid loud and only way i can do any kind of loud is a blowthrough in my truck so why not go all out and do it right the first time

I am thinking of going with 4 18's either BTL's, RD Elite, Omega cascade's, or some Nightshade 18's. What can the nighshades handle.

For 10k watts to run on the 4 18's looking into maybe AB VFL 500.1's a pair of those should give me 10-11k if i keep voltage around 12-13 volts. Figure a 250-300amp alt. 4 runs of 1/0 and 4-6 batteries in the back. Would that work for voltage

I won't spew any 'brands', but rather show you where you can benefit most from the size you select. These numbers are pulled directly from my site but you can apply the same dimensions with whatever brand you decide to go with:

Total Cone Area

4 x 18" = 4116cm2

6 x 15" = 4242cm2

8 x 12" = 3296cm2

yea not much diff in cone area i would rather do the 4 18's much easier far as amps only need one or two amps. and i think 18's will be much lower and louder for daily. Also box build will be much easier
