ehh i think 12 volts will make me more than happy and running that much power i am sure i wouldnt noitce much diff in 16 compared to 12 since it will be extremly loud anyway

porb be much easier to run 12 and keep the voltage up high as possible to the amps

You can give 18's 5 cubes each. You have enough room, but your going to use a single layer of MDF with that many subs and that much power?
well idk thats the thing with 18's facing toward each side of the bed i could only use one piece of mdf, being 18 inches is how wide the sub is plus 1.5 for the wood so 19.5 i only have 20" for height. I could mount the subs facing up or down but i dont think that would give good results would it???

if i need more than one layer and cant have them facing up with good results i can only do 15's then:crying:

haha hows your 18's and how loud do they get for the amount of power u got

I have used a lot of different subs in my days, and had quite a few systems and the BTL's are the loudest subs i've ever used. I rarely turn them up full tilt because of how much it hurts. I couldn't imagine how brutal 4 of them would be! If you decide to go with 18's you will not be dissapointed by the BTL's. If you decide to go a different route and use more, less expensive subs FI Q's are my second favorite subs.

i cant do 8 15's or possibly cant do 8 12's bc i will only have around 52-54 for the depth and 8 15's will take up for 4 each side looking at 60" too much

6 15's will take up 45" and i have to figure in the port width at the back of the box too, so prob down to 6 15's or 4 18's leaning to the 18's for cone area and prob cheaper buying only 4 subs and not mayn people have 18's specially 4 of them on 10k in a blowthrough

also 18's would hit lower and be louder but i hear 15's meter better then again who cares its still gonna be super loud and its a daily truck. Also farther back the subs are in the bed the louder it will be in teh cab and more pressure in the cab right??

i think 4 18's is the way i am gonna go looking for some made to handle 2500rms per sub daily, which subs would work the best in that application. Looking to spend around 1500 on the subs. Any advice.

For amp/amps any advice??? Also looking to spend around 1500 for that

what are you looking to spend on wire, batts, alternators, deading ect:greedy: dont forget that stuff

looking to spend about 1k on give or take on batts and a HO alt, 500 on wiring. about 500 on a few sets of comps and a few hundred bucks for a amp for the comps

looking between 5k-6500

why not. Whats so wrong with putting that much money into a system. Unless i can do 4 18's much cheaper then sure post it up. Wanting to do somewhere around 8-10k rms

i see the 15's have slight advantage in cone area but hardly nothing i think the 18's are the way i am going

Well, because you'll never get that money back.

I would only consider spending that kind of money (in one big lump sum) if it was going to MAKE me money.

It's your money, and if that makes you happy, then go for it!

Be sure to post pics.
