You can give 18's 5 cubes each. You have enough room, but your going to use a single layer of MDF with that many subs and that much power?
well idk thats the thing with 18's facing toward each side of the bed i could only use one piece of mdf, being 18 inches is how wide the sub is plus 1.5 for the wood so 19.5 i only have 20" for height. I could mount the subs facing up or down but i dont think that would give good results would it???You can give 18's 5 cubes each. I have used a lot of different subs in my days, and had quite a few systems and the BTL's are the loudest subs i've ever used. I rarely turn them up full tilt because of how much it hurts. I couldn't imagine how brutal 4 of them would be! If you decide to go with 18's you will not be dissapointed by the BTL's. If you decide to go a different route and use more, less expensive subs FI Q's are my second favorite subs.well idk thats the thing with 18's facing toward each side of the bed i could only use one piece of mdf, being 18 inches is how wide the sub is plus 1.5 for the wood so 19.5 i only have 20" for height. if i need more than one layer and cant have them facing up with good results i can only do 15's then:crying:
haha hows your 18's and how loud do they get for the amount of power u got
what are you looking to spend on wire, batts, alternators, deading ect:greedy: dont forget that stuffi think 4 18's is the way i am gonna go looking for some made to handle 2500rms per sub daily, which subs would work the best in that application. Looking to spend around 1500 on the subs. Any advice.
For amp/amps any advice??? Also looking to spend around 1500 for that
why not. Whats so wrong with putting that much money into a system. Unless i can do 4 18's much cheaper then sure post it up. Wanting to do somewhere around 8-10k rms
i see the 15's have slight advantage in cone area but hardly nothing i think the 18's are the way i am going
