.75'' or 1.75'' lift...choices

My birthday is coming in 8 days and all my relatives always just give me money because i guess im difficult to buy for.

so anyways I came across a deal on lift spacers and i can get a .75'' kit or a 1.75'' kit that will work with my 08 wrangler for about $120 or $140 for the 1.75''. I'll be buying one of those (hopefully) and a set of comps with what ever money i get.

Now heres the big deal and why i made a thread and am asking this.

I wont have money for bigger tires for quite a while so im wondering if it will look stupid with the stock tires. If the 1.75'' lift will look fine thats what ill do. if it doesnt then I will be going with the .75'' lift.

Im in the same boat with my Jeep also .. Been trying to decide on the same thing myself . More people have told be to go with 1.75 because over time it will settle slightly . Are you doing blocks?

go with the 1.75 its only an extra inch wont be that noticeable

Ah see , I have leaf springs in the rear in which I was looking into the add-a-leaf kits . Only because the the rear sags about 1.25 inch with the added weight of the system .

i dont think .75" will even be noticeable unless your a Jeep dude and can really tell the difference. 1.75" would be sweet

Stock tires look dumb to begin with. Don't even lift it if you can't afford tires.

Don't waste your money on such a tiny bltch lift. Either get a decent lift or dont do it at all

I went ahead and ordered a set of soft doors for my Wrangler....I have to wait till my 20's come in before I decide on which lift.....

thing is i dont do offroading. i will hit the dunes during summer time but thats it. im actually second guessing the 1.75'' and i think ill do the .75 because i dont need a huge lift and i think it will look nice.

i seen some pics of both lifts and the .75 makes the jeep look nice on stock tires

i happen to think the stock tires look pretty nice though i dont see a problem with them.

Im pumped to see how your jeep gets going. you have more funds than i do it seems so you can afford to make your sweet.

when i get money i plan to look at yours for ideas.
