i got 700 bucks to spend on speakers/subs/amp...i already have 2 JBL Loud+Clear but they **** now they're gettin old and they sound like shit....i have a 400 watt amp running the 2 subs..

i wanna get great sound quality, but i want my bass hittin reaaaaal hard too...i like hearing all the sounds in the music, not only the subs so i need speakers that play loud too, also what amps should i get to power the subs/speakers u guys recommend..i have a 1997 dodge ram sport 1500 extended cab with the infinity audio system...also, what should i do with the 400 watt amp, the amp is 4 channel...any ideas would be appreciated, i already have a bandpass box for 2 12" subs so preferably suggest some nices 12's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Get some CDT components from the zeb online and use your current 4channel amp to power them. Then... I would suggest purchasing dual eD 10 or 12 Oseries subs and a 1000watt rms amp to power them. I would ditch the bandpass box because you should design the box around the subs, not the subs around the box.

Your total would be 150+180ish +180ish + the amp. so 510 plus an amp. If you wanted you could also do the K series which is what I run and I'm very pleased with just a singe 12.

you mean dual 4 ohm or just 2 12" subs(dual or single 4ohm)...and also, what r the major differences between dual and single 4ohm subs?

also..any specific line of the CDT speakers?

well, the CDT classics series cl-61a's from the zeb.com I own those components and am amazed by them! us ur current 4 channel amp to power them...btw what am and model # is ur current one? Also, i'd als throught in 1 stereo integrity magnum d2 and a tsunami 1100....which would be like $435. Build your own box...bout 2-3 cubes ported at about 30hz...and u'll be in heaven! peace

is the magnum d2 that much better than the eD 12" Oseries? 700$ is max i can go, i would really prefer to spend no more than 600$ cause im poor :/ 17 years old and insurance costs so **** much

werd man, i know what ya mean...this ADDICTION gets expensive...and i'm 17 too. But yeah, the magnum is just a n overall better driver...and with one magnum, 1000watts, 3 cube ported box @30hz...it'll wang! also total for sub, amp, and components would be like $585. Use ur current 4-channel amp to power your components, and build ur own box for like $30. peace

out of the entire audiobahn line...they have decent SQ compared to their other subs. BUT, they fall far short of a lot of other subs in terms of SQ. audiobahn, like jer sed....is mainly spl subs. you CAN make them sound good...but you have many other options as far as sql subs. peace

i would get a couple K's. and an avinoxx 800.2

For speakers u can get some decent components or coaxials. U should get an amp for ur speakers as well.

Oh and burn that bandpass box

CDT CL-61 speakers

1 400 watt kenwood 4 channel amp(already have) for the speakers
