its now the 5th.

and audacity is listed in this thread. you know you could of made all the tones you wanted within 3 mins, instead of waiting 5 days, with no luck...

I'm curious how people get ELITE status with questions like this. It's really misleading to a poor guy who is getting his questions answered incorrectly by someone he see's as being an ELITE member. I know when I was first learning I saw any answer by someone with ELITE status and figured, they must know what they are talking about they are ELITE! I'm done.

its got to do with post count

just a way of trying to make people feel like part of a club i guess lol

stay on this site long enough, and if your a knowledgeable member, you will have to sit around correcting posts from people that have racked up 1000's of them in 6 months time. and people will assume your wrong because your count is lower.

this is kinda ****ed up as PM's should be private but i have to do this cause i think its funny/sad....the OP pm'd me this morning asking me for -6db test tones. so now its the 6th of november, and hes still asking.

USE AUDACITY AND MAKE SOME YOURSELF, as stated twice in this thread already. once by me.

i normally do help people out and make them/upload them etc, but in a case like this where the OP wont lift a finger to do the work himself.... no thanks.

Ok, just one question. I go to Generate > Tone. I use:

Waveform: Sine

Frequency/Hz: 50

Amplitude (0-1): 1

Length (seconds): 30

Then hit Generate Tone. Where do I make it a -6 tone? Thanks.

on the left hand side you have two purplish bars. i believe it is the top one. click and drag it to the left. you should see the numbers roll by. set it to -6, export them as mp3's and your good to go.
