60hz test tone coming through comps when HPF is set at 120?

Ive been setting up my amp gains (for a type r 12") with a DMM, and when im playing a 60hz test tone, the tone is also being played through the components. I have my high pass filter set to around 120hz on my amp for the components. So ive just been using the fade to only play from rear so only the sub plays.

is this normal to happen? or is something wrong?

The filter is not a brick wall.

all the high pass filter does is start to make anything 120 and down quieter not completley canceling it, a subsonic filter is different tho
