Anybody running a creative zen vision:m and a 6000ub? i am trying to get a 30gig+ mp3 player that will work with this thing lol... it doesnt read my samsung k5...

Any other mp3 players that anybody knows of that works 100% with the 6000ub, let me know!

it should read it.. I'm using my ipod right now. But when I put in a SD to USB thing it works too

I was for a while. If you just hook it up, it will say "N/A Usb". The only way I got it to read my Vision M was to use the feature inside the mp3 player that converts it to harddrive mode.

Then I just dropped and dragged my mp3 folders into it while it was hooked to the computer, plugged it into the Pioneer and done.

Only problem, is the Creative only lets you convert a max of 16g of its space for the harddrive mode, so it limits how much music you can take with you.

Thumbdrives are a better choice for that HU, just plug in and good to go.

I tried a current gen Ipod Nano 8g and it worked perfect. Thats the only unit I personally can confirm.

i think im just gonna bite the bullet and buy an ipod then lol.. i really wanted to avoid it but oh well... it seems like the smartest move to make as almost every company's head units (even with no USB input) have some sort of ipod interface

I feel ya, I bought my Vision M in 06 just to be different, could have had an Ipod, and its times I wish I had bought it.

Maybe your best bet, esp with that HU.
