I could use some extra cash for the season so I'm willing to let go of some nice Sony pieces I've been hanging on to. Not going to split these up, so please don't ask. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I'll get better pics up soon with my username and such but these will get you started. These amplifiers are in like-new condition.

Sony XM-450 and XM-250. One is a 4 channel, one is a 2 channel. Both are 2ohm stable in stereo, and 4ohm bridgeable. Each has built-in HP/LP crossovers but they are fixed at 80Hz so they might be best paired with an active head unit and bypassed altogether. Great for a three-way front stage with 6 channels in stereo or perhaps a two-way front stage with the 4 channel bridged down to 2 channels to make more power for the midbass drivers. There are plenty more options to go with but I'm sure you can figure out what best suits you.

The plan was to replace the original badges with pieces solid cherry with a rich red stain to compliment the champagne color but I haven't gotten around to that yet. I still have the original badges so you can decide whether or not you like them in place.

Specs - These are not powerhouses but they are very well built with large copper bus bars, quality caps, and big Sanken output devices. Built in Japan, very clean sound and very reliable performance.

XM-450

4 x 50 RMS @ 4 ohm (4 x 100 dynamic) THD 0.04%

4 x 65 RMS @ 2 ohm (4 x 130 dynamic)

2 x 130 RMS @ 4 ohm (260 x 2 dynamic)

XM-250

2 x 50 RMS @ 4 ohm (2 x 100 dynamic) THD 0.04%

2 x 65 RMS @ 2 ohm (2 x 130 dynamic)

1 x 130 RMS @ 4 ohm (1 x 260 dynamic)

High pass filter fixed at 80Hz 12dB slope.

Low pass filter fixed at 80Hz 18dB slope.

Can be fully bypassed to run full range.

10.3V to 16V power input.

.2V to 2V input sensitivity.

Looking for $150 plus shipping.

Thanks, guys. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Unbeatable. Six channels of quality power for $125 shipped.
Cannot believe how afraid people are to use Sony.

lulz

I should keep 'em anyway.
I don't have any need for six channels though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

No rear speakers. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
Two channels for your tweeters, two channels for your midbass. This is the age of active. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Haha, you're right. That's happened to me as well.

Thanks for the bump, Shinny.
