soo im looking for some 6.5 comps for my avalanche. i have 200x2 @ 4ohms on tap and am looking for some speakers that are good all around speakers. im not a fan of harsh tweeters at all but i like them to be known. would like some pretty good midbass while still being able to produce great midrange. they need to keep up with my sub stage-(2) 15" RE SEs powered by a Sundown 1200d

what ive been lookin at:

-pioneer c720 PRS

-JBL c608 MKII

im not really sure where to start really. im not opposed to lower-mid level morels, focal, ID, rainbow, anything really that can get loud and maintain SQ.

Any of those you listed wouldn't be bad. See if any of your local shops have any you can audition, everyones ears are different.

With that much power you might want to find a used higher end set. I sold my Focal K2P's a while back for $300.00 and they still sounded as good as they did 4 years ago when I bought them. The focal's might be a bit on the harsh side if your sensitive to that. Morel might be the way to go although I dont know if I would shove 200x2 to a set of tempo's.

I have the pioneer 720's. They perform very very well for how much they cost, but i wouldnt feed them 200RMS, rather more around 100-120RMS. The tweeters get pretty loud on 50-ish RMS, but the mids take a bit of power to get moving. Mine performed very well on 100RMS in sealed, deadened, and ensolited doors.

edit: they kept up fairly well with my 4 15's on 4krms too
