If you want a good bang for the buck, check out the PG RSd65cs comps. There are a few reviews floating around the net and they all say midbass is pretty intense.

I'm probably going to order the Crystals soon. Hopefully I be able to control any harshness or overly brightness that might exist with the 9 band semi-parametric eq I have. If not I guess I can shop around for some quality soft domes to go with the woofers.

Ask for Tuan, he's an awesome dude! He's helped me to buy a set, and he's also installed had his guys install them for me, AND helped me with info to tune them in my active setup.

I've installed the Crystal's...what an improvement in SQ over the Polk db's, especially at higher volume. They bring out much more detail in music and have a bit more punch. Also the titanium tweeters sound less harsh than the silk Polks. It certainly illustrates the fact how a tweeter is made influences it's sound more so than materials used. Thanks for the help!
