That is the question. And please dont suggest an amp, if they sound like ***** i'll add one.

Gunna see what my comps sound like hooked up to the h/u(pioneer 3200dvd,8 band eq,22rmsx4,cea 14rmsx4).The comps are cadence alums (50rms each, 93 sensitivity)..

Should i set the x-over on the comps to -3 or +3? Remember that they'll be ran off the h/u w/ a 8 band eq. Only reason i ask is cause i'm mounting the x-overs behind the rear panels and at a spot that is hardish to get to if i have to switch between the 2 settings.

So all things considered, -3 or +3?

Gracias

That setting is one that should be tried in all 3 positions for you to audition. No one can tell you what sounds best to your own ears.

Only reason i ask is cause i've never ran comps off a h/u. Didn't know if there was a obvious answer that i was unaware of. Guess i might just have to keep my interour in shabbles till everything is hooked up so i can adjust them if need be. shiet
