6.5" components.. XR650-CSi for $150? yay or nay?

I found some clearenced JL XR650-CSi for $150. These retailed much higher when they were being made.. good deal?

Im putting together a system in a gmc sierra with two rf hx2 15"s and a 1500w amp, Ill have a 300w amp for the components. I don't want to dump a lot of money into the components but they have to take some abuse because I listen to a lot of metal.. metallica, slayer etc. Someone please give me some thoughts, thanks.

yeah it's a good deal. that's what i have. you can push those 150X2. i listen to metal, rock, country, and push em hard. i got 2 sets for 450 2yrs ago cause the zr line came in so they were getting rid of the xr line.

cool, also another option is a Hertz HSK 165 set for $125. I don't know if this brand is as well known but it has good reviews.

Yup and the Eclipse SC6500 or the 3 way setup SC8365's.

ordered the JLs.. can't wait for them.. Also picked up an orion 300.2 on craigslist for $50. Yay for $200 into highs with amp.
